Rakhi- A Social Problem

Well yesterday was rakhi in india and old memories came rushing into my mind...for all the four years in my engg college, this was the only day , each year, that i completely skipped the campus..eventhough i used to have attendance shortages because of skipping the classes through out my four years of study , i used to make sure that i stay in campus as i used to love campus life with friends.....But on rakhi day, me and my friends used to make sure that we dont even come to college vicinity as if we come there,on that day then there is no use coming to campus after that...as almost all the girls are sure to tie rakhi on our hands and that will be a big embarassement for me.....specially..
In that sense i honestly think rakhi should be banned in public places and it should be confined only to homes and to between those who are genetic siblings....As a person who has seen my friends passing thru the trauma of getting tied to a rakhi at campus, i strongly urge everyone reading this blog to support me in "BANNING RAKHI"....atleast in campus and work places.

fortunately noone except my cute little sister has tied rakhi on me...or rather i havent allowed anyone else to tie it on me...Well espicially my class mates in my engg college....:-)

Yesterday i took a bold decision to reduce my weight...and so took a resolution to go for swimming for the next 30 days...and went yesterday for swimming ,with all vigour...The result? now i cant move my legs and my whole body is paining and i drank about 3 to 4 litres of water in the pool.. @#$@ . So i might revoke my resolution .....

Thats all for today...waitin for my friend to return from india...well forgot to wish u all people a VERY MANY HAPPY ONAM..I am now feeling proud of being a mallu....

Onam in kerala

I really miss my home now..If u ever want to go to my state ; kerala; this is the time to be there.....because this month the whole of kerala is celebrating onam...the regional festival...its fun to be there as lot of activities going on there..schools and offices are closed for a week and everyone will be enjoying onam...i will make sure that next year i will go and celebrate onam..its the second time in a row that i am missing the festival and i miss it like hell...

there is another reason y i miss my place and home...and that is my sis is expecting her second child next week...so it would have been really nice if i could be there at this time....well work is different family is different..
well Nothing much to write except that life is as normal as it should be .....looking forward to the weekend for a nice game of squash and tennis....

Boring

Another boring day it was... nothing much to do...and over it was raining and so was double boring...But with lot of things happening around i am keeping myself active....today some of my office mates read my blog and they wanted their name mentioned...One is a new recruit who joined with me..i refer to him as Prrr.. Arowana Tony...crazy screwed up guy...well but a nice guy...and one of our mentor and senior broker viwen also wanted his name mentioned..he is a humble and happy go lucky guy...And there is super duper macho cool guy joel...he is looking after our entire shippin business ...he says he has capabilities that no other can achieve and so i need to caution girls who are reading this blog to watch out...out of envy i cant give his phone number :-) i will try to upload these peoples photos later on...these are species of their own nature and are cool to be wih all the time....actually i should thank these people for taking me to the best restaurants in singapore

before signing off i would like to mention abt a website called www.aviation-safety.net... this website is unique in the sense that if u go there and register urself then this site will automatically update u abt all the aircrashes happening world wide....its so accurate and fast that within an hour u will get the full details of the crash along with make of the plane as well as the runway and what ever u want to know in ur mail box..really interesting guy..his name is harro ranter and he is the admin of this site.....check that out....thats all for the day ..will blog in tomorrow....

Me back again

me back after long days of hiatus..infact i wont call it hiatus but was totally busy with my day to day work...then i was looking for a house also..All got mixed up and so couldnt blog.actually some of friends were asking me why i am not blogging nowadays...i felt happy at the thought that atleast some people are reading my blogs..thats a nice feeling..infact even my friends are also scattered around... one of my closest friend with whom i used to stay before went back to india..i didnt feel sad at that time but now i feel damn sad..we used to be at loggerheads sometimes but i really used to like that guy in the sense we used to have the same temper... yet we used to be friends..nowadays i really miss him,,,.. Another of my closest friend (shall i say like that) went to KL, malaysia and from there is going to india. so this person will be back on september first week.. antoerh guy is too busy with work so its not fare to disturb him..but the positive part is that i am enjoying my work....and things are slowly settling down...one thing i got a beutiful house ...i have a job which i love to do and a set of office mates with whom i am comfortable..thats also a good thing...so all in all life is normal...if i look back from my last blog date till now lot has changed both personally and professionaly....well time to go will blow in later on... .

50's

hi guys me back again after almost a week of hiatus..well nothin special in here..but the last whole week was full of fun..lot of learning at the office..learned a lot of stuff regarding trading and brokering..from the way it is going i think i will be mostly overseeing the Indian as well as Middleeast Oil market...seems to be fun..
Last friday we had the orientation party thrown to us by all the traders and brokers of the firm. It was a night full of booze and party. first we all went to excellsior hotel , which is famous for its pool game and girls. we played pool for like 1 hour and then played the game of dies. The game is played in such a way that the guy who looses in each round has to drink one full glass of whiskey.Man it was somethign.drank drank and drank until i couldnt stand properly. after the game we all went to have korean style dinner and another round of drinking. the korean style is such that if someone in ur table offers u a drink u have to accept it however bad condition u r in. Again got fully boozed there.. the last stop was at the famous "50's" the famous pub of s'gpore... We all were given one girl as well as drinks to "play" with..By the time i reached 50's i could no longer stand on my feet. and finally came home by about 3 in the morning and a nice sleep....saturday and sunday was fully spend at the airport. my friends were coming from US , another one going to US and another going to India. In short most of the time was spend at the airport specially saturday and sunday evenings...

nothin special happening here. as of the moment i am enjoying my work ...lets see how much pressure i can stand as the market is really bearish now .. and bearish market means more tension and pressure....
