My Life, My Bike

Well finally i got my bike...A beutiful aprillia RS125..http://adridrousmtx.free.fr/site%20files/page%20incredient/rs125.jpg
Right after i got my license in singapore i wanted to go for this bike..As it was a power machine and straight out of the racetrack with no difference in the confi except the head light..That was what that attracted me!! Normally road going race bikes are heavily modified to adapt to the roads but this one is a thriller..NO MODES!!! Straight from the tracks...And that makes it more difficult to drive as its suspensions are not smooth and the riding condition is a bit too stretched..But that awesome power is too much..Bloody Hell!!! You put this into first gear and accelerate ..nothing happens..You think " ye kya ho raha hai" no power but instead underpowered..then to II gear at RPM of 3ooo still nothing...to III now/RPM 5000 ..Nothing...Bloody hell..You think ur a loser and then cursing you go into IV gear @ 6000RPM..suddenly you hear a "Click" sound and then a surge of power and the front wheel goes upp..Bang!!! If you are not carefull u are definite to lose control..Then through V and VI gears you see that massive power coming out..My goodness i never thought race bikes can be like this...Holy Cow..at 125cc and with a hefty price tag of 3.5 lakhs this give a total of 35 BHP..equialent to a Maruti 800CC....Now you know the difference. That "Click" sound i mentioned was the power valve opening and u need to watch out for that sound as thats when this whole thing comes apart and the fun starts..

I take it office everyday and since i stay on top of a hill i need to climb up and down every day to reach the highway...The journey through hill roads is beutifull. The bike being italian and a cousin of DUCATI is superb through corners with power delivery being very smooth and then u go to highway and push it to 6000rpm and fly at about 100 to 110KM..Its loads of fun and i reach office in under 10 min!! Pure raw fun,.But along with this comes the hefty maitanence.>its too expensive to maintain with frequent visit to the service centre but that what u pay for that sheer fun every morning and evening..It has even got a lapclock on the dash board with a switch next to ur clutch level..U can see how long u took to do a lap...

I saw close to about 10 to 15 Aprillias before i took this up and the whole project (as i like to call it) took about a year.. As all second hand bikes comes with loads of problems..So u need to be carefull when u buy one...otherwise u will be running to a bank to borrow for the bikes maintaince..

Well nothing much happening..life as usual...Job also the same..Now planning to go to india on March..for a wonderfull 3 weeks..Hope it would be wonderfull..
