CFA Cleared & Screwed up in Work

First thing first...and good things first
Finally cleared CFA-Level 1. With pass rate of 30% its a good achievement and registered for Level II next year..... I feel happy that i could crack it....Good progress to become a trader!

Bad things last! Got royally screwed up in work... Its such a high power game managing these big egos of traders that you end up getting royally screwed from all sides.... I have lost all shame and now losing 1 million overnight is like going for peeing in the middle of the night...!!! i dont feel anything.... Royally lost 100,000 USD in a structural position last week trying to sell a cargo from philippines...Got burned there and my ass is still aching...and i dare not look at my trading book and my GPLs face...He is ready to pounce on my next miss...But if u think it in a positive note, that structured position could have cost me a dear close 0.2 to 0.3 mln but i was able to call a stop loss at 0.1 mln and get out of it...so am not so bad eventhough i got burned.

Had a good fight with refinery economist today..That lady is in sweet 40s but she took me for a ride today in and out and then i had to start pouncing over a trade that i did and went horribly wrong...Feminine gender needs bashing...Kudha salamat! Altogether today was a WONDERFULLY AND ROYALLY SCREWED UP DAY! and it helped me brush down my self ego.

I feel trading is full of intuition..some week u r a star and in someother week u get burned..But a good trader is not the one who makes maximum profit but who knows how to get out of a loss making situation with out much burns...And thats what i had to face this whole week....
